Definition of “personally identifying information.”

“Personally identifying information” is any information that can, by its nature, identify a person—for example, name, address, phone number, and email address.

Our Methods

This organization gathers personal information, as identified above, from clients, site members, and subscribers of its print products. In addition to name, address (postal and email), telephone number, and credit card information, we may collect demographics and opinions of subscribers or potential subscribers to our magazines, e-newsletters, and websites. Some of our sites collect data through on-site tools and applications designed to assist you, for instance, in polls and surveys. Late Talks on Air may track information about online users through forms, surveys, contests, over the telephone, mail, email, fax, and our website.

How we use the information.

General visitor information may be compiled (we do not collect visitor names) and shared in an anonymous aggregate form with advertisers and other third parties, but no personal details will be traceable or associated with specific individuals. Late Talks on Air will only send personally identifiable information about you to other organizations when we have your consent to do so or if:

A. We need to share your information to provide the product or service you requested, which may require involving organizations that work on our behalf to provide the product or service. (Unless we tell you differently and unless you consent, these companies do not have any right to use the personal information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.)

B. We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes.
